Bey Captain - Melbourne
I hail from West Gippsland, but now live in the fabulous city of Melbourne which I adore. I have been dancing since the age of 6; performing in competitions and theatre throughout my schooling years. I then went on to study a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre at the University of Ballarat Arts Academy. After completing my degree I studied full time dance at The Space dance and Arts Centre (2010).
I have choreographed for Eagles Nest Theatres’ Romeo and Juliet (2009), Melbourne Opera Studios' Orpheus in the Underworld (2011), Backwards Anorak (2013-2015) and various fringe shows and events. I have also been teaching dance of all styles to school students since 2009 and absolutely love it!
I performed in 'Winter is Coming' at the Edinburgh fringe in 2014 which is where my love for Bey Dance began; starting with taking one of Liz’s workshops and ending up performing with her at Hot Dub Time Machine. In 2015 I also performed in various shows at Adelaide fringe Melbourne comedy festival and Edinburgh Fringe. In 2016 I had the pleasure of teaching The bey dance workshops at Adelaide Fringe and also choreographing and hosting 'Immaculate' at Melbourne Fringe.
I’m very excited to be part of the Bey family. I look forward to dancing with you all.
